FAQ's > About Martin Bishop Racing > Where do you get your information?
The majority of our information regarding specific betting opportunities comes first hand from a range of different sources throughout the racing industry. This includes information that we pay for.
I have been involved in the horse racing industry in one way or another for over 35 years, making a living from it for the last 20. I have my own 'little black book' of conacts many of whom I speak to on a daily basis and includes some of the most prominent owners and trainers in the racing industry, but more importantly some ofthe less prominent names such as stable hands and training riders.
These are not people giving away information for free, I have arrangements in place that are mutually rewarding in many different ways, but obviously the main benefit to all parties is the financial rewards available for the vast amounts of effort we all put in to making this system work.
The difference between Martin Bishop Racing and the way most people choose a horse is on average about 4-5 hours per race. Every tip we give has at least this amount of time invested in it. A world away from reading a 2 inch newspaper column like your average punter!
All in all, we call on a wealth of experience and information that switches the edge back in our favour. This means that consistently over time we average a healthy profit.
