Absolutely Not. I do not believe it to be ethical to ask someone to place a bet for me using their money (with the exception of very close friends or family).

There are many people out there who would ask you to do this and 99 out of 100 of them are scammers and I would highly recommend you do not even entertain the idea.

I can easily make a case for this model, because betting limits are an issue with higher stake bets, however there are so many situations where this situation turns bad it is actually not worth it for anyone involved (mainly the situation where it can be hard getting returns).

I have previously considered starting a managed betting service, however this is purely aimed at people who have trouble managing a bankroll. (i.e. they win they increase the size of their bets dispropotionately, and when they lose they chase). However this is more the sign of someone gambling outside of their means, and I would be more inclined to urge these people to get help if required.

Do not ever enter into a relationship where you are placing a bet for someone else, or someone else is placing a bet for you.
