You know what our motto is, ‘we always get it back’ and after a very disappointing Saturday, one of only 8 days since the beginning of December without a winner, we have come up trumps again.

4 Runners on the day and 3 winners. A fantastic 20 points profit on the day and now 67.5 points in profit for January.

We started with Meath All Star, Well backed into favorite like so many of our runners, AP on board to get the job done, but in reality any jockey could have steered this runner to victory. Fit and ready and an armchair ride for McCoy, Great winner to start the day at 7/2.

Then we had Special Envoy, expected to win but a few mistake including a big one in the closing stages ended his chance, not the run that we were expecting.

We then had the NAP Gold Award, we said that we were expecting a Royal winner and we didn’t let you down. Travelled strongly and ran out an easy winner. Again a great ride and the NAP landed nicely at 5/2.

The last runner of the day drifted on course. The money was already down and Matsunosuke was primed for a big run. The price of 9/2 was the icing on the cake. Finished strongly as expected to take the win.
