A very good winner on the day but again a second place that should have been a winner.

Count Boris was given a very strange ride, I spoke to connections and they were left scratching their heads. Not the best judged ride and Dougie Costello who obviously thought he had more horse underneath him than he did. However it was clear that if he hadn’t had gone way too soon then he would have won.

Hunterview couldn’t go the pace and ran a little flat, it was not what we were expecting and he found the conditions a little to testing.

But we did have a great winner in Rock A Doodle Do who won nicely as expected pulling away in the final furlong and was clearly the best horse in the race.

We had a winner a second and a fourth on the day and not what we have come to expect.

A small loss on the day but still over 64 points in profit for January so far.

We have some strong information in the office today and expect a profitable day.
