Monday the 01/02/2010

Great winner to start the day yesterday.

We went with the Strig and we were happy to see Blue Neptune being backed in the morning, we knew we had the measure of him. Connections really confident that The Strig would be winning yesterday. He was well backed on course but we were on at 11/8 and he never looked like getting beaten. Great winner to start the day.

Then we had Youngstown, again well fancied to win but he just got a bit tired after leading the whole way and got mugged on the run in. Good second and mile clear of the rest that finished but not the result we wanted.

Then we had the NAP, Blue Lyric, ran really well but again just got tapped for a bit of toe in the straight and finished a very close up third.

A winner, a second and a third. Not the results we are used to but 3 big runs all the same.

Small loss on the day and we ended January with a fantastic total of just over 79 Points. What a great start to the year.

Today there is only the one card at Wolverhampton and the news is a little dry today. However we have managed to get 2 great pieces of information for today and we expect to kick of February with a profitable day.
