We started the day with a huge run from Petara Bay yesterday, 22/1 in the morning and available at 25/1 just before the off. We knew he was fit and ready after a long break due to injury and he ran a huge race. Just 1 and a half lengths off the winner. Nice e/w bet landed and a nice profit too.

Then we had Verdant, was in an awful position throughout the whole race and got bumped and hampered. Not the run we were expecting and will run a big race next time without that bad trip.

We said that Paco Boy was as close to a certainty as you could get in racing and the price at 5/6 was massive. He is a real special horse. I haven’t seen a Group 1 runner travel so well compared to other runners and basically treated them with contempt. It was a very special performance to win as he did. Great winner and won cosily. He will be hard to beat wherever he goes next. 3 Point win bet landed.

Our last runner Our Son Max was unlucky to bump into such a good runner. The yard new he was a nice prospect and the front 2 were miles clear. On any other day he bolts up, however we didn’t know that we were up against another very good runner and we went down by a head.

Great winner on the day and a nice placed runner at big prices.

Today we have 3 runners and we expect another great day.
