Front Of House was disappointing. The jockey reported that he was not himself just before the race and he ran accordingly.

Our last runner of the day Benny Be Good was well backed again, but went off to fast and not the best ride. He was a spent force when the challenger came and had to settle for second best.

More strong news for Cheltenham over the weekend and we are keeping our powder relatively dry today with only 3 runners.

We started the day with the NAP. Ruby Walsh had the choice of runners from the Nicholls yard and he went with Pasco that had shown much better form at home. Ironic that he gets beaten by the runner he jumped off to ride Pasco. Big run in second and the front 2 nicely clear of the third. Very frustrating but a big run all the same.

Then we had Wogan, big word for this runner at a nice price. 6/1 in the morning and it was a great ride to win. Front 2 miles clear of the third and the information spot on that he was set to run a big race. Great winner at 6/1.

Then we looked set to make it another winner with Nearly. Again well backed and the money was down. First run since last year and we had the word that he was ready to win with the ground that he needs. However after jumping the last in front and looking like winning nicely he got mugged right on the line. This game can make you pull your hair out sometimes. He was in front everywhere but right on the line.

We expected compensation with Cucumber Run in the Doncaster Bumper. Who could have predicted that a 66/1 outsider would have beaten us into second. Cucumber Run well backed all day and went off the very strong favorite. The winner showing no great form on the all weather and it has to be considered a huge run from him. However we came out second best on a day that we should have had more winners than we did.

1 Winner and 3 seconds on the day. More importantly we were still 8 points in profit on the day. Nearly so much better than that if not for being mugged right on the line and beaten by a totally unfancied 66/1 shot.

However we move onto today and we again expect a big day. Some strong information in the office despite not much good quality racing today and we expect a healthy profit on the day.

Action Impact was expected to win nicely and did so as he liked really. Hit the front late on and a comfortable winner to start the day.

Lord Singer was hammered in the betting like so many of our runners and we were on at 7/4. Returned 6/5. Big run to take the win by nearly 4 lengths.

Akarshan ran below form and was disappointing. Even more so when we were on e/w and he came 4th. Simply didn’t run as expected and connections were left scratching their heads.

The NAP was also a little disappointing did not show what he has done at home and although third was not the run that was expected.

2 winners on the day from 4 selections and we move onto today and we have some strong information in the office.

Over 14 points in profit on the day, 3 selections and 3 huge runs.

We started with a well fancied runner that was 6/1 in the morning when we gave it out and was well backed into 9/2 favorite as expected. Very fast pace on and that didn’t suit us however a massive run to finish strongly for second, the winner relatively unfancied but a big run expected and unlucky not to get the win. Still a small profit on the bet.

Then we had the NAP Saphir Des Bois. Drifted slightly on course and that was a bonus for us. Everyone should be on the guaranteed odds by now and returned 11/4. He was expected to handle conditions nicely as we said and did so nicely. Travelled very well and picked off the leader in the home straight, only small problem was the last fence, the jockey did well to recover and ride to the line without his feet in the irons and ultimately should have won eased down if not for that last fence mistake. Great NAP winner at 11/4.

The last of our 3 runners, Caught By Witness, ran a huge race as expected. Well backed all day, we were on at 11/4. Again travelled best of all and won nicely. Great winner and very unlucky not to have made it 3 winners from 3 runners. Still 3 bets and all three made a profit.

A fantastic profit on the day and we move into March with a load of information that you don’t want to miss.

Everyone that watched the racing will have seen the NAP Court In Motion run. There was carnage on the exchanges, the winner being ridden from the home turn when we were firmly on the bridle. Two out we were still looking all over the challenger and even at the last it looked like we would go on and win. However when he was asked to go and win, inexperience took its toll and Court In Motion was a little clueless, he was clearly the best horse in the race but came out second best by less than a length. They were a country mile clear of the third. Big disappointment to finish second.

Davids Mark ran well but had to drop in from a high draw and ultimately couldn’t get to the leader despite making up good ground in the straight.

Thebes however the biggest priced of our runners at 9/1 ran a huge race. We had been told he was fancied to win after running well in higher grades and was backed accordingly, sat up with the pace and when headed battled back to win nicely. There was a small 10p rule 4 for any bets before 11.30am but we still make a very nice return on our 2 point e/w bet, putting us over 10 points in profit on the day.

We move onto today and we have a strong Platinum Bet that we have been told is a little special and takes on the big stables today.

We fully expect a profitable day today. Some big names on show, Punjabi will win unless he does a Denman, we have been told he is 95% ready for Cheltenham.

We have been told that The Nightingale in the 2.30 at Kempton will win barring a fall but the price is too restrictive.

We have some strong information in the office today and we expect a profitable day.

We emailed a review of racing on Friday yesterday and just a quick recap today, we had a vewry good winner in Beshabar, really battled on well to take the win, great winner for us on the day. That put us slightly in profit on the day.

Today however we expect a much better day with some strong information in the office.

Then we had Victorias Groom, we had been given the word that this runner was fit and ready and was expected to win. Set out in front and never saw another rival, cruised into a big lead into the home straight and won as he liked by over 15 lengths.

Ma Yahab ran another huge race, 9/1 on the off and we expected a big run, we weren’t disappointed, got slightly outpaced on the home turn but picked up smartly and looked like we would go on and win at the last, however just couldn’t get to the leader and other big e/w bet where we have had to settle for the e/w money.

The NAP was again very green but what a gamble. 6/1 in the morning and was hammered into 15/8. So many bets on Corres yesterday and again let down by the horses inexperience. Got outpaced and looked to basically fade out of it, but again when the penny dropped he showed what he has done at home, he was the best horse in the race but ran on too late, finished like a train for third and will be winning as soon as he gets his head round the game. Massive gamble not landed but with the winner earlier in the day we ended the day level.

We have some very strong information in the office today and we expect a profitable day.

Flaco ran a sound race but couldn’t get on terms on ground that was much softer than described.

However then we had Doubnov, 3rd favorite when we gave this information out at 7/2, well backed all day especially on course into 15/8 favorite. Like so many of our runners we got on easily at the biggest price. We knew he was ready to go in again and had to be as the runner up ran a huge race, the front 2 pulling miles clear of the third. Doubnov had enough in his pocket to get his head in front and a great 7/2 winner for us.

Then we had the NAP, again we were able to get on easily at 4/1 in the morning and was again well backed. We knew he was fit and well and he would ran them into the ground from the front. He got to the lead and never looked back. Stayed on really well as expected and a great NAP winner for us at 4/1.

That put us 11 points in profit on the day and we expect another great day today.

We started the day with Sir Bumble, who stepped up in grade and put in a good performance as expected. Was in contention late on before fading slightly, but stayed on to take the place money, and a solid enough performance, and slightly over a 1 point in profit on the bet.

Next up was Mozayada, and the yard were confident of a better performance, and they were proved right. Well positioned throughout and came through to challenge in the closing stages, and it looked like he would go on to take the race, but he couldn’t get past the front runner and again we only took the each way money. Although a nice profit on the bet the front 2 were well clear and it was a disappointing outcome in the end not to get the win at a nice price of 12\1 with a strong 2 point each way bet. On another day that performance would have been enough to come home in front, which would have obviously been an extra 26 points profit on the day.

Next up was Gilsland who was travelling well throughout and looked to be well positioned to challenge for the win in the closing stages, but just as things started to get interesting a heavy fall ended our race.

Finally, we had the NAP, and we went with a max 3 point each way bet. This one had clearly improved, and travelled nicely throughout. Looked to be closing on the front runner and looked set to run out for victory, but just couldn’t find enough and finished a long way clear of the 3rd for a strong, all-be-it frustrating, 2nd place finish.

Hopefully today will see us convert some of those strong 2nd places into wins, and make a strong profit on the day.

We started with a great winner in Empty Sky. Always well placed and won a shade cosily in the end. Great winner to start the day.

Then we had the NAP run. We knew he had improved and he was the one to beat. Took it up with 4 to jump and was travelling best of all up the home straight, and looked to have the race in the bag. All he had to do was stay on his feet at the final fence, but if anything over jumped it. He crumpled on landing and lost a race that he would have and should have won. Very frustrating to fall at the last fence when all teh hard work had been done.

Some Touch made two bad mistakes and threw his chance away. But then we had a niced priced runner that simply ran into one. Mister Island, well backed all day and ran a big race for second. Small profit on the bet and a slightly frustrating day with 3 very good runs and only 1 winner to show.
