Some strong information today and I expect to land another strong bet with our NAP. I am also at Chelmsford this afternoon and will be on the lookout for any information on course that can steer us in the direction of some winners – keep an eye out for MBR Live updates.
3 Platinum Membership runners on the day yesterday after a late cancellation at Ffos Las. It was a cancellation I was left frustrated by as I had a runner due to take part in a race at Ffos Las yesterday and whilst the horse in question would not have been winning a late cancellation at that time is costly for everyone involved for different reasons. The main issue from my perspective is the delay in racing – it will now be several weeks before an appropriate race is available and we will not be coming down the handicap as quick as expected!
We did have a run slightly below what was hoped with Ibis Du Rheu and was a little disappointed with that result. Cold as Ice ran a solid race coming 3rd although I was again a little frustrated he ultimately failed to land the odds.
We did land a strong Platinum Bet with Bristol De Mai who was advised as a strong Platinum Bet. I thought the race would be a little more competitive than it was with the front two in the market but the result simply never looked in any doubt. Bristol De Mai got the job done with ease to land a strong bet for us.
We did also have a Premium Bet with Festive Fare who had to settle for a close second in a race that was not run to suit. Nothing went right and he still almost landed the odds and a touch frustrating to run a big race under the circumstances without getting the result that we wanted.
