Chepstow

Chepstow is a dual purpose race course in Wales featuring a mix of approximately 30 National Hunt and Flat racing fixtures a year. The highlight of the racing calendar is the ‘Welsh Grand National’. As well as a prestigious race in it’s own right it also acts as a telling trial for big staying chases to come later in the season – namely the Cheltenham Gold Cup and the Aintree Grand National. Chepstow is a specialist course with a lot of undulations and a slight draw bias favouring higher drawn horses.
