Hamilton Park racecourse in Scotland exclusively offers flat racing where the track can be described as ‘Stiff’ whilst favouring low drawn horses. Hamilton was the first ever race course to stage an evening fixture – and evening fixtures have become a major part of racing at Hamilton – which reinvests all profits back into the racecourse. One of the feature races at Hamilton is the ‘Braveheart Stakes’; a Listed race run over 1 mile 4 furlongs in mid May.
