Haydock Park

Haydock Park is a racecourse that is home to several significant races – namely the ‘Betfred Sprint Cup’ – 5 furlong Group 1 race scheduled to take place in September each year, as well as other flat group races throughout the year including Lancashire Oaks and Temple Stakes. In addition Haydock is a dual purpose racecourse and is home to the ‘Betfair Chase’ that takes place in November each year and has an illustrious list of winners that includes Kauto Star (4 times) as well as Imperial Commander. Haydock is a solid test for horses and is regarded as a stiff track with a high draw favoured for flat horses over shorter distances.
