Kelso

Kelso Racecourse is situated in Scotland and offers year round National Hunt racing. The course is small and relatively sharp although there is a distinct uphill finish. This means horses can often be found out on the run in and need to see out the trip. The feature race of the Kelso racing calendar is the Grade 2 Kelso Novices Hurdle that takes place in March each year. Kelso originally started out as a flat racing venue although switched to a National Hunt rules in the late 19th century. It is a race course that is well regarded amongst local race goers and is considered to have a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
