Newbury

Newbury is one of the UK’s leading race courses, and is home to some of the best UK Flat and National Hunt racing, including the Group 1 Lockinge Stakes flat race, which is run over 1m (8 furlongs). Situated in it’s current Berkshire location since 1910, Newbury offers top-class year round racing. The Lockinge is part of the newly formed British Champions series with the winner often going on to the Queen Anne Stakes at the series climax at British Champions Day at Ascot in October. Previous winners include the highest rated horse of all time – Frankel. Newbury attracts high quality fields that ensures some excellent betting opportunities.
