Newmarket

Newmarket is often referred to as ‘Headquarters‘ or ‘HQ‘ which refers to it’s significance in both horse racing history and importance as the UK’s largest race horse training centre.

In addition to 2 racecourses (Rowley Mile & July course) it is also home to Tattersalls, the National Horse Racing Museum and the National Stud.

It is an administrative centre and features no less than 9 Group 1 races (Cheveley Park Stakes, Dewhurst Stakes, Fillies’ Mile, Middle Park Stakes, Sun Chariot Stakes, Falmouth Stakes and the July Cup) with two further Group 1’s part of the 5 British classics (1000 and 2000 Guineas).

Naturally there is more horse racing information and horse racing tips available in  at Newmarket than anywhere else in the UK.
