Stratford

Stratford racecourse is a small northern course that features jumps racing between March and November. Although a small course with a lack of higher quality racing on offer, racing is very well received. There is an emphasis on a casual and laid back approach to racing which can lead to very relaxing experience during the summer months. Racing has taken place at Stratford for over 200 years and in 1969 a 2 mile hurdle race (Garrick Jubilee Challenge Cup) was introduced to commemorate the 18th century beginnings.
