Uttoxeter

Uttoxeter is a well-regarded National Hunt race course that is favoured by many owners and trainers. A stiff track that suits galloping horses – although there are a number of relatively tight turns that need to be negotiated – particularly past the winning post when heading into the back straight. Races are run over a number of distances but none greater than the Betfred Midlands Grand National Chase – a Listed Handicap run over 4 miles 1 furlong and a serious test of stamina. In addition there is also a ‘Summer Cup’ – another Listed Handicap Chase.
