Warwick

Warwick is a popular racecourse offering dual purpose flat and National Hunt racing. The racecourse is considered one of the sharpest in the country for both disciplines and as such speedier agile horses are preferred over galloping types that will be more suited to a stiffer test. There are approximately 25 meetings held a year and there are also several graded races that take place at Warwick that regularly draw higher quality fields. These include 3 Grade 2 races – namely the Neptune Investment Management Novices’ Hurdle; the Mares’ Hurdle and the Racing Post Arkle Trophy Trial Novices’ Chase.

Statistically there is not a great deal to go as there are not too many shorter sprint races at Warwick - but a low draw is preferred - as expected with sharp left hand turns.
