Wetherby is Yorkshire’s only dedicated National Hunt Racecourse offering jumping horses a 1 mile 4 furlong testing circuit that tests a horses jumping ability and stamina. Wetherby is definitely considered in the upper echelons of National Hunt racecourses with 3 different types of enclosure (Premier, Paddock and Course) catering for different types of race goer. One of the highlights of the Wetherby racing calendar is in earl February each year with the Grade 2 totepool.com Towton Novices’ Chase.
