We landed a nice winner on the day yesterday but we should have had more with some half decent rides.

We had a big winner with Pelekai, yet another first time out 2 year old to win nicely and proving the inside information about these 2 year olds is vital. Knew his job as expected and got the near rail after a fast start, never looked like getting beaten and it was another big winner on debut for us.

Science was expected to win and had to settle for a short head second. He was ahead a stride after the line, very frustrating.

We also had a big word for Mr Poy and he was expected to run a massive race. However he missed the break and had to make up ground in the hottest part of the race. He finished well to hit the frame but it was disappointing to lose it at the start.

We also had a big word for Moll Davies, not sure what I can say about this ride. Last and a good 20 lengths off the pace at one stage. Came there pulling a kart only for the jockey to find trouble everywhere and had to take back when the rest were going for home. She finished like a train and will be winning again soon, but it was a missed opportunity yesterday. All online bookmakers paid 4 places and at 13/2 it was a decent each way bet. However it was still a very annoying ride and she would have been hard to beat with a half decent ride.
