Ffos Las is one of the newest race courses in the country (with the country being Wales!) that offers dual purpose racing. They are one of a few race courses along with Sandown that run a ‘mixed’ card of both flat and jumps racing. The course has excellent facilities and the track is well liked by owners, trainers and jockeys. Despite racing only commencing in 2009, Ffos Las is already home to the Welsh Champion Hurdle – a class 2 handicap hurdle with in excess of £50,000 in prize money on offer.
